Connecting to your PC
In order to record using the Video Grabber you must first install the software. If
you haven't already done so, go to the chapter entitled 'Installing the software'
and follow the instructions.
Connect the adapter (7) to the Video Grabber (1) as shown in the earlier
illustration.
Attach the video output of your source (e.g. camcorder) to the Video
Grabber. Now you have the choice of the following types of connection:
Composite Video Signal
Connect one side of the video cable (number 3, yellow plug on both
cable ends) to the video input (yellow) of the connector adapter.
Connect the other side of the video cable (3) to a free video output of
your source (usually a yellow socket).
S-Video Signal
Connect one side of the S-Video cable (number 5, same plug on both
cable ends) to the S-Video input (black) of the connector adapter.
Connect the other side of the S-Video cable (5) to a free S-Video output
of your source.
Scart Adapter
When your source does not have a Video or S-Video output, you can use
the enclosed Scart Adapter (2).
Connect either the S-Video cable (number 5, same plug on both cable
ends) or the Video cable (number 3, yellow plug on both cable ends) to
the Scart Adapter.
Plug the Scart Adapter into a free Scart socket of your source.
