Component Size Limitations (2) Power supply and optical drive limitation The photo illustrate a 180mm long power supply (SilverStone ST1200-G) and a 170mm long SATA optical drive installed into the TJ08-E with cables bent heavily for fitting. In order to remove modular cables from the power supply in this setup, the optical drive must be removed first. If you need to install two optical drives, we definitely recommended 160mm long power supply or shorter.

Once the optical drive length surpasses 185mm, it will start to encroach the cable routing hole to the right of the power supply compartment. The gap between the top of the 5.25” drive tray and the top cover is also less than 10mm. These were designed as part of structure strengthening areas and are not made for storing cables and connectors so please don’t use these small gaps for cable routing to avoid damage.
Fan Speed Adjustment H L TJ08-E’s one main Air Penetrator AP181 fan are speed adjustable in two speeds, 700rpm or 1200rpm. The speeds are designed for silent or performance usage. 180mm fan switch guide: “L” indicates low speed state, “H” indicates high speed state. However, performance may vary depending on the quality of your CPU cooler and other factors, so you will still need to test the limit on your own.
