LIMITED WARRANTY
According to the U.S. Public Law No. 93-
637, effective July 4, 1975, the following
limited warranties apply to all 2001 Model
Year boats produced by SILVERTON MA-
RINE CORPORATION.
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY
SILVERTON MARINE CORPORATION
warrants to the fi
rst-use purchaser and
any subsequent owner during the war-
ranty period that any part manufactured by
SILVERTON will be free of defects caused
by faulty workmanship or materials for
a period of twelve (12) months from the
date of delivery to the fi rst-use purchaser
under normal use and service. During
this period, SILVERTON will repair or
replace any part judged to be defective by
SILVERTON.
LIMITED FIVE YEAR WARRANTY
ON HULL STRUCTURE
SILVERTON warrants to the fi rst-use pur-
chaser and any subsequent owner during
the warranty period that the hull of each
boat will be free from structural defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of
fi ve (5) years from the date of delivery to
the fi rst-use purchaser under normal use
and service. This limited warranty applies
only to the structural integrity of the hull
and the supporting pan/grid or stringer
system. Hulls, pan/grids or stringers modi-
fi ed in any way or powered with engines
other than the type and size installed or
specifi ed by SILVERTON are not covered
by this limited warranty. The obligation of
SILVERTON under this limited warranty
is limited to the repair or replacement of
hulls that it determines to be structurally
defective. This is your sole and exclusive
remedy.
RESTRICTIONS APPLICABLE TO
WARRANTIES
These limited warranties do not cover:
1.
Bottom paint, paint, window glass,
gelcoat, upholstery damage, plastic fi n-
ishes, engines, engine parts, bilge pumps,
stoves, blowers, pressure water pumps,
propellers, shafts, rudders, controls,
instruments and equipment not manufac-
tured by SILVERTON. Any warranty made
by the manufacturer of such items will be,
if possible, given to the fi rst-use purchas-
er.
2. Fiberglass blistering attributable, in the
opinion of SILVERTON, to water penetra-
tion of the fi berglass (osmosis).
3. Problems caused by improper main-
tenance, storage, cradling or blocking,
normal wear and tear, misuse, neglect, ac-
cident, corrosion, electrolysis or improper
operation.
4. Speeds, fuel consumption and other
performance characteristics because they
are estimated and not guaranteed.
5. Boats used for commercial activities,
including charter.
