RECORD KEEPING
Boat Record
Use the Boat Record (included at the
end of this manual) to record all important
information concerning your yacht and its
equipment. After your dealer has recorded
all the information, remove the record from
your Owner’s Manual and store in a safe,
convenient location. Do not keep this form
aboard your yacht.
Float Plan
The Float Plan (included at the end of this
manual) provides a record of your desti-
nation, departure and return times, yacht
description, passenger list and other infor-
mation about the trip you have planned. At
the bottom of the form is a space for listing
emergency telephone numbers in case
your return is delayed past the expected
time. It also has space for indicating
information about the person fi ling this re-
port. Leave a copy of the completed form
ashore with a responsible person. Carry
the original form with you on your cruise
and if you deviate from your original plan,
be certain to notify the person with whom
you left the copy of your change in plans.
Silverton recommends you make several
copies of this form each yachting season
to ensure you have an adequate supply.
Maintenance Log
The Maintenance Log (included at the
end of this manual) provides the means to
keep maintenance records in one location.
Using this log will allow you to track main-
tenance work completed and to determine
when specifi c maintenance is required.
