Using the simulator

Simulator mode

The simulation feature will let you see how the unit works in a sta-

tionary position and without being connected to the GPS, radar, etc.

You can use the simulator to help you become familiar with your

unit before using it out on the water.

Demo mode

In this mode the unit automatically runs through the main features

of the product.

If you press a key when demo mode is running, the demonstration

will pause. After a time-out period, demo mode will resume.

Selecting simulator source les

You can select which data ﬁles to be

used by the simulator.

A set of source ﬁles is included in your

system, and you can import ﬁles by

using an SD card inserted into the

unit’s card reader.
