3.2.4 SETTING UP THE DATABASE
PROCEDURE
• Using a workstation on the server, create a folder in the desired location
(e.g. D:\SimonsVoss_DB). This folder should not be located in a directory that
is protected by the system (e.g. C:\Windows, C:\Programme).
• Unzip the lsmdb.zip file from the
C:\Programme\SimonsVoss\LockSysMgr_3_0\db folder into the new folder.
• Approve the folder (here: d:\SimonsVoss_DB)
• Read access for everyone (optional)
• Hidden approval can be used

Enter the setup path under 3.3.5 Setting up the database connection (from LSM
Business edition) as follows: \\[SERVERNAME]\SimonsVoss_DB\lsmdb\lsmdb.add
