Thank you for choosing Alcatel. This booklet helps you get started with your new Alcatel MYFLIP. Important: Restart your phone by pressing and holding the power key for more than 8 seconds until the startup screen appears. In case this does not start your phone, press and hold the power key and volume up key together until the startup screen appears. From the following menus, short press the power key to select the language and then the “Factory reset” option.

1.3 Home screen To reduce power consumption and energy waste, disconnect your charger when the battery is fully charged; switch off Wi-Fi, Bluetooth. 3.4 Deleting a contact In contacts list screen, scroll to one contact and press the Right Soft Key to access Options, select Delete contacts, and press the Center Soft twice and the Right Soft Key twice to delete. 9 10 Music............................ Using this menu, you can play music files stored in your phone. Music files can be downloaded from your computer using a USB cable. To access this function, press the Center Soft Key screen and select Music. Browser................... Using Browser, you can enjoy surfing the Web. To access this function, press the Center Soft Key screen and select Browser.

Press the Left Soft Key Use the Calendar to keep track of important meetings, appointments, etc. To access this function, press the Center Soft Key screen and select Calendar. to add new events from any Calendar view. Fill in all required information for this new event. If it is a whole-day event, you can select All-day Event. When finished, press the Right Soft Key from the Home to save.

15.3.2 SIM Security Time Only after disable auto-sync will you set the phone’s time manually. A SIM PIN prevents access to the SIM card cellular data networks.
