SECTION 6: TROUBLESHOOTING AND
MAINTENANCE
6.1 LEVEL OF REPAIR
This manual is written with the assumption that only
transfer switch system troubleshooting will be per-
formed. If the cause of malfunction is traced to an IQ
Transfer, the unit should be replaced with a spare. The
malfunctioning unit should then be returned to Cutler-
Hammer for factory repairs.
During conversations with Cutler-Hammer concern-
ing troubleshooting or product return, the customer
may be asked for information pertaining to the soft-
ware version and options included in the specific
unit. Refer to the “Note” under the topic “Help
Pushbutton” in Paragraph 3.4 for instructions on
how to obtain this information.
6.2 IQ TRANSFER DEVICE TROUBLESHOOTING
