Assembly
5. Install the pivot capscrew (AE, Figure 4) securing the
new lift link (AI) to the lift lock (AF) and lift lever (AG).
6. Place the lift lever in the attachment-lowered (forward)
position.
7. Check the front lock plate capscrew (AH). If the
capscrew is grade 5, replace with the grade 8 capscrew
(A) provided. See Figure 4 to identify correct
capscrew.
8. Place the lift lever in the attachment-raised (back)
position.
9. Re-install the pin (AC) through the top hole in the lift
cam (*), through the rear hole in the lift link (AI), through
the spacer (AJ), and secure with the hair pin clip (AK)
as shown.

10. Reinstall the lift assist spring in its original orientation.
11. Reinstall the manual lift adjustment bolt (AB, Figure 2)
in the bulkhead and tighten.
Modify Lift Linkage
(Hydraulic Lift Models Only)
1. Start tractor, disengage parking brake and set the
hydraulic lift to approximately half travel. Before
moving to Step 2., SET PARKING BRAKE and SHUT
TRACTOR DOWN.
2. Remove pin (AC, Figure 5) securing the hydraulic
cylinder (**) to the slot in the lift cam (*).
3. Reinstall pin (AC) through the top hole in the lift cam (*)
as shown. Secure using existing washers and hair pin
clip (AK).
