Safety Precautions This vacuum cleaner should be used for normal, dry household dust and dirt. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by use or operation of the vacuum contrary to these instructions. If the vacuum is wrongly operated for a purpose other than that for which it is intended, no liability can be accepted for any possible damage. • Do not vacuum areas which contain moisture or water, flammable matter, needles, pins, razor blades, matches, cigarettes, etc.
Replacing Vacuum Bag and Filters Replacing the Vacuum Bag Change the vacuum bag when the indicator is RED or suction power is weak. The dust cover will not close without a bag in the unit or if the bag is not properly installed. 1. Pull the bag holder straight out to access the bag. 2. P ush the latch on the underside of the holder to release the bag collar. 3. Remove and discard the used bag. NOTE: The genuine HEPA bag cannot be reused. 4. Secure the new bag with the bag collar holder latch.
Description and Operation Hose Adapter • To separate the hose from the canister body, press the buttons on the hose adaptor and pull it away from the canister. In this case, continue cleaning.
Troubleshooting Guide Please check each item below if you have trouble with your vacuum. Unplug the vacuum from the power supply before servicing. Warranty What is Covered: This warranty covers any defects in material and workmanship in your new Simplicity vacuum and applies exclusively to the original purchaser. How Long Coverage Lasts: Warranty coverage for the Simplicity Jack canister lasts two years. Household models used commercially are only warranted for 90 days. What is Not Covered: • Damage to the vacuum which occurs from neglect, abuse, alterations, accident, misuse or improper maintenance.
