set radio-profile frag-threshold
Changes the fragmentation threshold for the AP radios in a radio profile. The
fragmentation threshold is the threshold at which the long-retry-count is
applicable instead of the short-retry-count.
The long-retry-count specifies the number of times a radio can send a unicast
frame that is equal to or longer than the frag-threshold without receiving an
acknowledgment.
The short-retry-count specifies the number of times a radio can send a unicast
frame that is shorter than the frag-threshold without receiving an
acknowledgment.
Syntax
set radio-profile name frag-threshold threshold
Defaults
The default fragmentation threshold for AP radios is 2346 bytes.
Access
Enabled.
Usage
You must disable all radios that are using a radio profile before you can
change parameters in the profile. Use the set radio-profile mode command
.
The frag-threshold does not specify the maximum length a frame is allowed to be
without being broken into multiple frames before transmission. The UNIVERGE
WL Access Point does not support fragmentation upon transmission, only upon
reception.
