RUNNING THE ENGINE WITHOUT OIL WILL
RESULT IN SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE AND VOID
THE WARRANTY. This pressure washer was
shipped from the factory without oil in the
engine. To avoid these hazards,
use the included oil to ll the engine to the
recommended level (between the upper and
lower limit of the dipstick).
BYPASS MODE is when the engine is running and you are not spraying any water from the spray gun. To avoid overheating and causing
damage to your pressure washer pump, turn the engine o󰀨 if you will not be using the pressure washer for more than two minutes. BY NOT
DOING SO, YOU MAY VOID THE WARRANTY.
DO NOT ALLOW YOUR PRESSURE WASHER TO RUN IN BYPASS MODE FOR MORE THAN TWO MINUTES.
Your unit’s pump has a gold colored TRV on it. If you see it occasionally expelling water, this is a normal function of your TRV; however, this
is a sign you are leaving the machine in bypass for too long. It is a manufacturer recommendation to turn the engine o󰀨 if you will not be using
your pressure washer for more than two minutes.
The low oil sensor (if equipped) will
prevent the engine from starting and/or will
automatically stop the engine when the
oil level falls below a safe limit. To avoid
unexpected shutdown, check the oil level
before each use.
USE OF IMPROPER OR OLD FUEL MAY RESULT IN ENGINE
DAMAGE.
• Use only clean and fresh regular unleaded gasoline
with a minimum octane rating of 87.
• Do not use gasoline that contains more than 10%
ethanol (ethyl alcohol).
• E15, E20, and E85 are not approved fuels and should
not be used. USE MAY VOID THE WARRANTY.
• Do not use gasoline that is older than 30 days.
• Do not mix oil with gasoline.
Pump guard should be used on a
regular basis, particularly when the pressure washer is not
in use for an extended period of time. The manufacturer
recommends the use of pump guard to help lubricate
pistons and seals, and helps prevent corrosion and
mineral buildup caused by a period of inactivity. Following
these recommendations can help maintain the optimal
performance and longevity of your pressure washer.
See Pump Guard instructions for use.
AIR TRAPPED INSIDE THE HOSE AND PUMP MUST BE REMOVED
BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE.
Run water through garden hose to
remove excess air and debris.
Failure to release the pressure built up in the high-pressure hose may lead to the
engine behaving as if it is seized or locked up. If the engine does not start after
two pulls of the recoil or if the recoil cannot be pulled, as if the engine is locked
up, then squeeze the spray gun trigger to relieve built up pressure on the pump
and engine. Once you have relieved the pressure, try to start the engine again.
