Purpose
TheTrawldialogallowsyoutoenterthemainparametersrelatedtothetrawl.Trawl
informationisusedfordisplayofupperandlowertrawllineintheechogram.All
receivedspeeddataarestoredtolewhenrecordingofrawdatatoleisenabled.
Description
ASimradITI(IntegratedTrawl
Instrumentation)systemcanbe
connectedtotheEK60.Communication
withtheITIsystemisbasedonNMEA
telegrams,andallnecessaryparameters
areautomaticallydened.
Trawlinformationisusedfordisplay
ofanupperand/orlowertrawllinein
theechogram.Allreceiveddataare
storedtolewhenrecordingofrawdata
isenabled.
Ifanothertrawlorcatchmonitoring
systemisused,andthissystemdoesnotprovidethetrawlopeningand/ortrawldistance
automatically,thevaluesmustbeenteredmanually.
Tosetuptheinterfaceparametersbetweenthetrawlorcatchmonitoringsystemandthe
EK60,usethePortManagementdialog.

Tip
Youmaywishtoincludetrawllinesintheechograms.Ifthedistancefromthevesselto
thetrawliseithermanuallysetdifferentfrom0(zero)intheTrawldialog,orthetrawl
datagramcontainsadistancedifferentfrom0,youwillneedtoenablethedistance
counterontheDistancetabintheNavigationdialog.
