WhenyoudonotusetheEK60,switchoffthedisplayandthecomputer.
IfyouknowthatyouwillnotusetheEK60foralongtime,werecommendthatyoualso
switchoffthetransceiver(s).Sinceeachtransceiverisnotprovidedwithapowerswitch,
youmusteitherdisconnectthepowercable,ordisengagetherelevantcircuitbreaker.
Whenyouaredockingyourvessel
Ifthetransducerisactivatedwhenoutofwateritmaybedamagedbeyondrepair.Itis
thereforeveryimportantthatnoonetriestousetheEK60whenthevesselisindrydock.
Toensurethatthiscannothappen,disconnectthepowersupplycabletotheeitherthe
computerorthetransceiver-orboth!Youmayalsoremovethecircuitbreakersonthe
ACmainssupplytotheEK60transceiver(s).Dothisbefore
thevesselisplacedin
thedrydock!
