Youcansetuptheechosoundertorecordunprocessedtransducersignals(sampledata)
andexternalsensorinformationontoles.Theselescontainthenecessaryinformation
toreconstructthesituationduringtherealsurvey.Theechosounderprogramreads
theselesduringreplay.
Procedure
1ClickFile→Output,andobservethattheFileOutputdialogopens.
2ClicktheDirectorytab,andclicktheBrowsebuttonifyouwishtochangethe
directorytowhichthelesarestored.
3ClicktheRawDatatabtodenehowtherawdataistoberecorded.
•Saverawdata:Start/stoprecordingofrawdata.
•Range:Selectthedepthrangetoberecorded.Thisrange,referringtothe
transducerface,isindependentofanyotherrangesettingsintheechosounder.
•Echogramdata:Thisisuserdenedexcerptsoftheprocessedsampledata(pixel
data),iethebackscattervalueofthetargets.Theechogramsarestoredastime
taggeddatagramsinseparateles.
4ClickOktoexitthedialog.
5UseeitherthetoolbarbuttonsortheSaverawdatacheckboxintheFileOutput
dialogtostartorstoprecordingofdata.
6Duringrecording,observethesizeofthestoredrawdata.
Thesizeoftherawdatalesstoreddependsonseveraluserselections.Fromthese
selectionsyoumayestimateapproximatelythetotalamountofrawdatastoredina
giventimeperiodforeachinstalledchannelusingthefollowingequation:
