BrowsetheledirectoryintheStoredialogtolocatethecorrectdirectory.Theraw
datalenamewillbegeneratedautomatically,butyoumayspecifyaprex.Theraw
dataleisusedforreplay.
Thesameprocedurecanberepeatedforeachoftheinstalledfrequencies.Observethe
followingcalibrationprocedure.
1ClickOperation→Pingcontrol.
2InthePingControldialog,setPingratetoIntervaland1second.
•Thiscanalsobedonefromthetoolbar.
3ClickOperation→Normal.
4IntheNormalOperationdialog:
aSelecttransceiver,andswitchtoActivemode.
bSettheTransmitPowertothelevelyouwishtocalibrate.
cChoosethePulseDurationyouwishtocalibrate.
5Right-clickinanechogram,selectRangeontheshort-cutmenu,andsettherange
foroneoftheechogramviewstocovertherangeyouwishtosee.
•Thisrangeshouldincludethedepthrangewhereyouexpecttondthereference
target.
6CheckthatyouseethereferencetargetintheSingleEchoview.
7Right-clickintheSingleEchoviewcorrespondingtotheechogramtoopenthe
SingleT argetDetectiondialog.
8IntheSingleTargetDetectiondialog,clicktheCalibrationbuttontostartthe
calibrationprogram,andtocreateanewCalibrationwindow.
•Thecalibrationprogramallowsyoutorecordnewcalibrationdata,orread
previouslyrecordedcalibrationdata.
9IntheCalibrationwindow,clickFile→NewtoopentheRecorddialogandtostart
anewcalibration.
