5.3 System Data Menu
The menu is accessed from the User Set up Menu (page 34). It provides
you with additional system data that can be useful when testing or
trouble shooting the system.
NMEA hardware test
On the main PCB in the junction unit disconnect three cables and
connect TX1+ to RX1+ and TX1– to RX1–. Similar on the Power PCB
connect the NMEA ports the same way (not available on J3000X).
Select the Loopback test menu(s) and verify that the hardware is OK. If
not, replace the corresponding PCB(s) to rectify.
