Scan Driver Setting Menu
Setting Group Setting Menu Options Description
Original Set
Type
Flatbed,
ADF, Duplex,
A3 Unit
Select the location where the original is
placed.
Standard
Presets
Original Size
Letter, Statement,
Legal, Executive,
Folio
Select the size of the original to be scanned.
Legal and Folio are available only when ADF
is selected.
A4, A5, B5,
Custom Size
Max. custom size:
Width 215mm, Height 297mm
Original Size Portrait,
Landscape
Default is “Portrait” and activated only when
“Standard Preset” is set to “A5” or “Statement”.
General Select Button Resolution in “Advanced Settings” is to “
300x300dpi”, Color type to “Gray”.
Photo Select Button Resolution in “Advanced Settings” is to “
300x300dpi”, Color type to “Color”.
Document Select Button Resolution in “Advanced Settings” is to “
150x150dpi”, Color type to “Black/white” and
Halftone mode to “Threshold”.
Advanced Resolution 75x75dpi Select the resolution of the scan job. The
higher resolution gives the higher quality of
images, but larger file sizes instead.

Color Type Black/White Select the color of the images to scan. Select
it upon the color type and purpose.
Gray Scale
Color
Brightness -100~100% Setup brightness of the scan images.
The larger the value is, the brighter it is.
Halftone Mode Threshold Activated only when the color type is set to
“Black/White”.
