Before operating this unit, please read these instructions completely.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed,

including the following:

Read all instructions before using this sewing machine.

WARNING – To reduce the risk of burns, fire, electric shock or injuries to persons:

1. Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing

machine needle.

2. Always use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.

3. Do not use bent needles.

4. Do not push or pull fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.

5. Switch the sewing machine off (“O”) when making any adjustments in the needle area, such

as threading needle, changing needle, threading bobbin, or changing presser foot, etc.

6. Do not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when this appliance is used by

or near children.

7. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Use only

attachments recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this manual. Never operate

on a soft surface such as a bed or couch where air openings may be blocked.

8. Never operate the appliance with any air openings blocked. Keep ventilation openings of the

sewing machine and foot controller free from the accumulation of lint, dust and loose cloth.

9. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.

10. Do not use outdoors.

11. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being

administered.

THREADING THE MACHINE FOR SEWING Caution: When threading machine, make sure the power switch is OFF. C C B E A D E 1. Make sure the upper bobbin or spool with thread (A) unwinds in a clockwise direction. 2. Pull the thread from the bobbin or spool through Thread Guide 1 (B). CATCHING THE BOBBIN THREAD 1. Raise the presser foot by pulling up the presser foot lifter. 2. Hold the top thread and turn the handwheel toward the back of the machine to make the needle go down and back up. You will see a loop formed by the bobbin thread. POSSIBLE CAUSES OF A POOR STITCH 1. The upper threading is not correct. 2. The presser foot is not in the down position. 3. The needle is not fully inserted in the needle bar. 4. The needle eye is not facing the right or the left of the machine. 5.

La colocación del hilo superior no es la correcta. 3. J ale el rizo para encontrar el extremo del hilo de la bobina. 4. El ojo de la aguja no está dirigido hacia la izquierda o la derecha de la máquina.

ENFILAGE DE LA MACHINE POUR LA COUTURE BOBINAGE DE LA CANETTE Mise en garde : veuillez vous assurer que l’interrupteur est en position d’ARRÊT (OFF) lors de l’enfilage de la machine. REMONTAGE DU FIL DE LA CANETTE 1. Lever le pied presseur en tirant le levier du pied presseur vers le haut. 2. Tenir le fil du dessus et tourner la molette vers l’arrière de la machine pour abaisser et relever l’aiguille. Vous verrez le fil de la canette former une boucle . 3. T irer la boucle pour trouver l’extrémité du fil de la canette. 4. T irer les extrémités des deux fils vers l’arrière de la machine et glisser en place le couvercle du boîtier de la canette. Vous êtes maintenant prêt(e) à coudre.
