Tension is automatically set when seiecting the
desired stitch type with the Auto Tension Dial (ATD).
Tension may be fine tuned with the Fine Tuning Levers
according to the following variables
1) Type and thickness of fabric
2) Needle size
3) Size, type and fibre content of thread

How to Balance
Set auto tension dial to I shown at right and test
sew on a sample of your fabric.
8) 4-thread Safety Stitch
Correct Balance
When the lower looper thread appears on the top of
the fabric;
-Move the lower looper thread tension lever
(red) to
fine tuning
a higher position.
- Or, the upper looper thread tension
(green)
move fine tuning
lever toward a lower position.
When the right needle thread is too loose;
- the right needle thread tension
(blue)
Move fine tuning lever
toward a higher position.
When the chain stitch needle thread tension is too loose;
- the chain stitch needle thread tensionMove fine tuning
lever position(orange) toward a higher .
- Or, the chain stitch looper thread tensionmove fine tuning
lever position(brown) toward a lower .
