1)
Before practicing pattern
knitting,
knit
7-8
rows
of
stockinet, ending
with
the Carriage on the left side
of
the Needle Bed. Always
use
the accessory Weights at both sides
of
the
knitting
to
prevent stitches
from
being floated. Move the Weights up
as
knitting
progresses.
(2) When moving the Carriage, ensure at all times that the Carriage
has
passed
the centre
portion
of
the
Needle
Bed
(about 30 needles on
both
sides
of
the
ce
ntre 0 mark). The Carriage must always
be
moved
at
an
even
speed.
(3) Do
not
pull the Carriage
off
the Need le
Bed
.
If this
is
done,
it
is
the
same
as
a mistake in
knitting
.
