(1) Place the

Knitter

on a table

with

the handle on

your

op-

posite side and unfasten

the

latches.

(2)

Lift

the upper

case

slightly and

pu

the cover towards

you

to

free

it

from

the

Knitter

. (The

Arm,

Yarn Rod and Auto-Ten-

sion are housed in the

Top

Cover.)

(3) Remove

the

protective pack-

ings.

~Clamps

(4) Insert the Clamps

into

the

slots

at the

bottom

of

the casement.

Fasten the Clamps

by

tighten-

ing screws.
