3/8” wide elastic strip, 7” long

Thread elastic through the needle-opening hole in the foot.
Pull 2-3” of elastic to the back of the foot, enough to firmly grasp.
Position fabric under the foot.
Sew, gently stretching the elastic while sewing.

Note: The foot holds the elastic into place, making it easier to evenly
stretch the elastic.
