Special Features
Locking and unlocking channels
The Mirge lets you lock channels you do not want others (such as children) to
access without your permission. Locked channels will not appear on the Channel
Listscreen,theCategoryList screenoron thePreviousChannel screen.When
anyonetriestoaccessalockedchannelusingDirectChannelEntry(seepage30),
the screen will display a Channel Locked popup for 3 seconds and the Mirge will
return to the currently-tuned channel.
To lock a channel:
1 PresstheMe n u button.
2 Highlightch a n n e l ac c e s s ,thenpressthese l e c t button.
3 Highlight ch a n n e l lo c k /un l o c k ,
then press the se l e c t button. The
en t e r co D e screen is displayed.
4 Use the Number buttons to
enter a 4-digit code and press
the se l e c t button. The first time
you access the en t e r co D e screen
you will have to re-confirm the
code before proceeding.
NOTE! Be sure to remember your 4-digit code number. If you forget it, call
SIRIUS XM Customer Service for help.
