FM radio
Check that your Mirge and your car radio are tuned
to the same FM frequency. See Finding an FM
frequency ,onpage55.
Audio fades or has static when
listening
Check all cables for a firm and secure connection.
Iftheproblempersists,itmightbeinterferencefrom
another FM channel. See Finding an FM Frequency
onpage55whenusingtheXMSureConnect(sold
separately)ortheXMFMDirectadapter(soldseparately).
Audio sounds too quiet Raise or lower the FM audio level until the sound
quality improves. See Settingthe LineOut level ,on
page 57.
Traffic and Weather channels
sound different from other
channels
These channels use a different audio technology than
the other channels so they often sound different
from other channels.
The sales demo is playing Your antenna is not properly connected or you are
not receiving the SIRIUS XM signal. Check that the
antenna is connected properly and its view of the
SIRIUS and XM satellites is not obstructed.
