a
clean
and
dry
horizonta
l
surface
that
will
always
face
the
sky.

Attach
the
Rubber
Tail
to
the
antenna
and
press
the
antenna
cable
into
the
Rubber
Tai

Use
the
Rubber
Tail
to
position
the
antenna
the
correc
t dis
tan
ce
from
the
edge
of
the
roof
or
trunk
lid.

Clean
the
surface
of
the
selected
mounting
location
using
the
alcohol
preparation
pad
and
let
it
dry
thoroughly.
Peel
the
protective
mater
i
al
from
the
adhesive
strips
and
press
the
Rubber
Ta
il
fi
rm
ly
into
place
on
the
vehi
cle
for
30
seconds.
At
room
temperature
(68°
F),
maximum
adhesion
usually
occurs
within
72
hours.
During
this
period,
avoid
car
washes
and
other
contact
with
the
antenna
and
the
Rubber
Tai
l.

Tuck
the
ant
enna
cable
under the
windshield
rubber
molding
and
run
it
to
t he
nearest
corner.

Route
the
cable
out
of
the
molding
and
into
the
rubber
weather
stripping
around
th
e
door
open
ing.
C.
Lift
the
weather
stripping.
Tuck
and
run
the
cabl
e
inside
it
to
the
bottom
of
the
door
opening.
Replace
the
weather
stripping
.

Pull
the
cable
out
and
route
it
to
Stratus
7.

connector
into
the
silver
ANT
connector

the
right

The
Stratus
7
Radio
should
be
tuned
to
Sirius
channel184,
the
Prev

ew
cha
nnel.
There

ho
u
ld
at
least

two
bars

the
upper
right
corner
of
the
screen
that
denotes
antenna
signal
strength.
If
not,
be
sure
that
you
have
mounted
the
antenna
on
the
outside
of
the
vehicle, as
shown
in
step
2,
and
that
the
vehicle
is
parked
outdoor
s
with
a
clear
v
iew
of
the
sky.
Move
the
vehicle
away
from
any
ob
s
tructed
area,
for
example,
if
you
are
parked
in a
garage,
or
parked
near
a l
arge
structure.
