INTRODUCTION
• This tool has been designed for blowing/collecting as well
as vacuuming/shredding dry leaves and other dry garden
rubbish such as grass and twigs
• This tool is intended for domestic use only and is not
designed to be used under wet conditions
• This tool is not intended for professional use
• Check whether the packaging contains all parts as
illustrated in drawing 2
• When parts are missing or damaged, please contact your

SAFETY
GENERAL
• Only use the tool in daylight or with appropriate articial
lighting
• Only use the tool when completely assembled
• Do not use the tool on wet lawns and when the materials
to be blown/vacuumed are wet
• Do not blow at or towards hot, ammable or explosive
materials
• Do not vacuum hot, ammable or explosive materials
• Never operate the tool in the direct vicinity of persons
(especially children) and animals
• The user is responsible for accidents or hazards
occurring to other people or their property
• Always disconnect plug from power source
- whenever leaving the tool unattended
- before clearing jammed material
- before checking, cleaning or working on the tool
- whenever the tool starts vibrating abnormally
• Store the tool indoors in a dry and locked-up place, out
of reach of children
PERSONALSAFETY
• This tool is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the tool by a person responsible for their safety
• Ensure that children do not play with the tool
• Neverallowchildrentousethetool
• Never blow debris in the direction of bystanders
• Always wear long trousers, long sleeves and sturdy
shoes when operating the tool
• Wear protective gloves, safety glasses, close-tting
clothes and hair protection (for long hair)
• Wear a dust mask when working in a dusty environment
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
• Always check that the supply voltage is the same as the
voltage indicated on the nameplate of the tool (tools with
a rating of 230V or 240V can also be connected to a
220V supply)
• Connect the tool via a fault current (FI) circuit breaker
with a triggering current of 30 mA maximum
• Use completely unrolled and safe extension cords with a
capacity of 16 Amps (U.K. 13 Amps)
• Only use an extension cord which is intended for outdoor
use and equipped with a watertight plug and coupling-
socket
• Only use extension cords with a maximum length of 20
metres (1,5 mm²) or 50 metres (2,5 mm²)
• Always switch o tool and disconnect plug from power
source if the power supply cord or the extension cord is
cut, damaged or entangled (donottouchthecord
beforedisconnectingtheplug)
• Protect the (extension) cord from heat, oil and sharp
edges
• Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
tool
• Inspect the cord periodically and have it replaced by a
qualied person, if damaged
• Inspect the extension cord periodically and replace it, if
damaged (inadequateextensioncordscanbe
dangerous)
• Do not use the tool if the switch does not turn it on and
o; always have a damaged switch repaired by a qualied
person
BEFORE USE
• Be familiar with the controls and the proper use of the tool
• Check the functioning of the tool before each use and, in
case of a defect, have it repaired immediately by a
qualied person; never open the tool yourself
• Beforeuse,thoroughlyinspecttheareawherethe
toolistobeusedandremoveallsolidobjectsthat
coulddamagetheshreddingmechanismwhen
vacuuming(suchasstones,brokenglass,piecesof
metal)
• When vacuuming, never use the tool without the
collection bag in place
• Regularly check the collection bag for wear or damage
• Replace worn of damaged parts
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure that the
tool is in a safe working condition
