SMART MANAGEMENT
SAC700A centrally configures and manag-
es all APs under its control. No configura-
tion needs to be done on APs. This greatly
simplifies large-scale wireless network
deployment and management. SAC700A
provides two service traffic forward-
ing modes, central forwarding and local
forwarding to adapt to different networks
and to improve network resource utiliza-
tion.
SRM
The Smart RF Management (SRM) feature
monitors the wireless network environ-
ment in real time. Based on the monitor
data, the feature automatically configures
RF parameters of all APs and adjusts the
power or channel of one or more APs,
which makes users avoid interference
from wireless devices nearby. Besides, the
SRM feature can implement wireless net-
work self-healing. Once an AP fails, the
feature automatically increases the power
of APs around to shrink or even eliminate
the blind area.
SMART LOAD BALANCING
In a WLAN that wireless users determine
the AP to connect, this will lead to some
APs are overloaded while some other APs
are quite idle. Therefore, network resource
utilization is unbalanced. This feature can
balance workload among APs by user
quantity or traffic to improve network
resource utilization.
HIGH RELIABILITY
The SAC700A supports 1：1 backup. In
a network that SAC700A 1：1 backup is
implemented, when the active SAC700A
access controller fails，all the APs con-
nected to the failed one will be switched
to the backup SAC700A immediately. The
wireless users under the failed device will
get in service or network access in a very
short time.

access authentication modes (such as
802.1X-based and portal) and strict
user access control policies

ROAMING ANYTIME AND
ANYWHERE
With the unique wireless roaming tech-
nology and dedicated data processing
mechanism for roaming, SAC700A sup-
ports cross-controller or cross-network
seamless L2/L3 roaming.
