Affectnearlyeverysysteminthehumanbody

andresultin

birthdefects,brain,heart,liver,kidneyandskeletalsystem

damage.Theywillalsosignificantlyaffectthenervousand

reproductivesystemsofthehumanbody;

Whenburned,createcancer‐producingdioxinswhichare

releasedintotheairwebreathe;Ifthrowninlandfills,may

leachintogroundwateraffecting

yourlocalcommunity;

Inwarmclimates,theoxidationofmercuryinthe

environmentcanbeaccelerated,leadingtothecreationof

oxidizedHgatomsthatareknowntobeassociatedwith

ozonedepletion;andImproperrecyclingadditionallyresults

indatasecurityissues,asprivateelectronicinformation

remainsontheharddrive,

ifnotproperlyremovedbefore

disposal.


