Battery Installation • Unscrew Battery Cover using a Phillips head screwdriver (not included). • Install 2 new “AA” (LR06) 1.5V alkaline batteries in the orientation shown. • Replace Battery Cover and tighten screws to close. REQUIRES 2X AA (LR06) 1.5V (not included) ALKALINE BATTERY CAUTIONS • Do not use rechargeable batteries. • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. • Different types of batteries or new and old batteries are not to be mixed.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION • • • • • • • • • • • • • Use Chocolate Pen as instructed. Wash hands before use. Wash all parts by hand thoroughly before use, refer to cleaning information. Do not let water touch the confectioners chocolate. If any water comes in contact with the chocolate, the chocolate will no longer be moldable. Adult should supervise melting the confectioners chocolate and Chocolate Pen use. Have adult check the temperature of water before melting confectioners chocolate.

ADULT SUPERVISION IS REQUIRED Preparation Select a confectioners chocolate pouch and HAVE AN ADULT place in HOT tap water. Remove pouch from water and wipe dry with a towel. Gently knead pouch to ensure contents are melted and smooth. If not, return pouch to hot tap water and continue to melt. Make sure water temperature will not burn. 120°F NOTE: DO NOT HEAT POUCH IN MICROWAVE. Squeeze contents down towards the bottom of the pouch and have an adult cut STRAIGHT across the pouch as shown.

Preparation - Continued Unscrew and remove the locking ring from Chocolate Pen. Remove the pen door. NOTE: If plunger comes completely out of pen body, simply re-insert into pen. Squeeze contents up toward top of pouch to remove excess air. Insert pen cap into pen tip, roll excess pouch up and fold corners in as shown. Insert the pouch into the Chocolate Pen. NOTE: Clamp edge should fit into the grooves inside the front of the pen as shown. Replace the pen door and tighten the locking ring as shown.

Drawing with Chocolate Pen Get a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper ready. Remove the pen cap from the pen tip. Turn the chocolate pen "ON". Press the button until the confectioners chocolate starts to flow. Create a design. Turn the Chocolate Pen "OFF". Insert the pen cap into the pen tip. ½" NOTE: For best results hold pen ½ inch above paper when designing. Place design in freezer and allow it to harden for about 5 minutes. NOTE: Discard pouch, tip, cap and clamp after use.

Making Treats with Molds Select the pouch colors you wish to use and follow steps 1-11 in preparation. Select a mold tray. NOTE: Make sure to wash and dry mold trays thoroughly before use. Remove the pen cap from the pen tip. Turn the Chocolate Pen "ON". PEN CAP Use pen cap to add fine details. Press the button to fill the first level of the mold. NOTE: use the pen cap to help distribute the confectioners chocolate evenly in the mold.

Making Treats with Molds - Continued Unscrew the locking ring and remove the pen door. Remove the pouch from the pen. Repeat the process for each color until mold is full. Be sure to place mold in freezer between applications. NOTE: Gently tap mold tray on counter and design will settle and become level. Place design in freezer and allow it to harden for about 5 minutes. When treat has hardened turn tray over and tap gently to remove treat.
