5.  The hand control will display “Step 1: Set Camera FOV…” and “Already know the FOV?”
 • Ifyoualreadyknowtheeldofviewofthecameralensyouareusing,Press1. The hand control will then ask you to use the 
  numerickeypadtoentertheeldofview(indegrees)ofthehorizontalaxisrst.Whenyouaredone,pressENTER and edit 
  theeldofviewoftheverticalaxis.
 • Iftheeldofviewisunknown,press 2.Thehandcontrolwillwalkyouthroughthestepsonmeasuringtheeldofviewof
  yourlensinboththehorizontalandverticalaxes.Ifyourcameraissoequipped,turnontheLCD’slivepreviewmode,
  otherwiseuseyourviewnder.Themountwillaskyoutousethedirectionalkeystomovethemountinthefollowingmanner:
 • Alignthetopframeofthecamera’sviewwiththehorizonandpressENTER
 • Alignthebottomframeofthecamera’sviewwiththehorizonandpressENTER
  Thehandcontrolwillnowdisplaythemeasuredeldofviewfortheverticalaxisofyourlens.Tocontinue,press 3.Ifyou
  wishtogobackandperformthemeasurementagain,press 1. The hand control will now prompt you to do the same for the 
  horizontalaxis:
 • Aligntheleftframeofthecamera’sviewwiththeinitialcenteroftheviewandpressENTER
 • Aligntherightframeofthecamera’sviewwiththeinitialcenteroftheviewandpressENTER
  Thehandcontrolwillnowdisplaythemeasuredeldofviewforthehorizontalaxisofyourlens.Tocontinue,press 3.If
  youwishtogobackandperformthemeasurementagain,press1.Thehandcontrolwillshowbothvaluesandsavetheeld
  ofviewinformationforfutureuse.
6.  The hand control will display “Step 2 HOME Position”andwillinstructyoutousethedirectionalkeystomovethecamerato
  the central point of the panoramic photo you wish to take and press ENTER. 
7.  The hand control will display “Step 3 Set Pict Range.” Use the scroll buttons to choose between 360˚  Panoramic or Wide 
  Angle modes. 
8.  The hand control will again prompt “Set Pict. Range:” Use the scroll buttons to select “by Editing” or “by Measuring” the 
  range. Press ENTERonceyouhavemadeyourchoice.
 • When“by Editing”isselected,thehandcontrolwillaskyoutousethenumerickeypadtoenterthefollowinglimits
 (indegrees):
   o  RGT LMT-Howfartotherightofthecenterpointyouwantthepanoramicimagetogo
   o  LEFT LMT–Howfartotheleftofthecenterpointyouwantthepanoramicimagetogo
   o  UP LMT-Howfarabovethecenterpointyouwantthepanoramicimagetogo
   o  DOWN LMT–Howfarbelowthecenterpointyouwantthepanoramicimagetogo
Note: When working in 360˚ Panorama, the hand control will only ask for UP LMT and DOWN LMT
 • When“by Measuring”isselected,thehandcontrolwillprompttousethedirectionalbuttonstomovethecameraheadto
  measuretherangeofpanorama.Movethemounttotheupperrightcornerofthepanoramayouwishtotakeandpress
 ENTER.Next,movethemounttothelowerleftcornerofthepanoramayouwishtotakeandpressENTER.Conrmyour
    settings by pressing 1(Yes).
Note:  If in 360˚ Panorama mode, you will only need to move the mount upward and downward to measure the limits of the picture range.
