5. Install the shock boot to the new Skyjacker steering
stabilizer & secure with the supplied plastic tie.
6. Install the piston end of the new Skyjacker steering
stabilizer to the OEM drag link using the supplied
hardware. (Photo # 1)
7. Insert the tapered sleeve into the tapered hole of
the drag link, place the smaller 1/2" washer on the
1/2" x 4 1/2" bolt, & install through the OEM drag
link hole. Install the 5/8" spacer, the piston end of
the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer, larger 1/2"
washer, 1/2" locking nut, & tighten.
8. Attach the body end of the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer into the OEM mount using the OEM
hardware & tighten.
FINAL NOTES:
• A f t e r t h e i n s t a l l a t i o n i s c o m p l e t e , d o u b l e c h e c k t h a t a l l n u t s & b o l t s a r e t i g h t .
• Cy c l e t h e s t e e r i n g l o c k t o l o c k & i n s p e c t t h e s t e e r i n g c o m p o n e n t s f o r a d e q u a t e c l e a r a n c e .
• Retorque all the bolts after the first 100 miles.
