Installation:
1. Park the vehicle on flat level ground & set the emergency brake.
2. Turn the tires / wheels to a straight forward position.
3. Remove the OEM steering stabilizer & install the new Skyjacker
steering stabilizer in its place using the supplied bushings &
washer packets. (Photo # 1)
4. Attach the new Skyjacker track bar mounting bracket to the
track bar using the bent (15 degree angled) bracket. The track
bar runs from the passenger side axle to the driver side frame.
Attach using the supplied 5/16” u-bolts, washers, & nuts. (Photo

5. Attach the main end of the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer to
the track bar bracket & install the new Skyjacker tie rod bracket
to the tie rod assembly using the supplied 5/16” u-bolts,
washers, & nuts. (Photo # 3)
6. Attach the shaft end of the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer to
the new tie rod bracket. Note: Be sure that half of the shaft,
4.44", is pulled out so the steering stabilizer does not top or
bottom out on full turn. This bracket should be loose & may
need to be rotated to obtain maximum clearance.
8. Tighten all nuts securely at this time.
9. After installation, rotate the tires / wheels left to
right & check all parts for adequate clearance.
10. All bolts must be re-tightened after the first 100
miles & checked after every off-road use.
