Installation:

1. Park the vehicle on flat level ground & set the emergency brake.

2. Place the tires / wheels to a straight forward position.

3. Attach the new Skyjacker steering stabilizer bracket into the OEM track bar mount. Attach the

new bracket to the OEM mounting hole using the OEM hardware. Hold the bracket straight so the

outer mounting tab can be marked & drilled. (See Photo # 1)

2. Using a 17/64" drill bit, drill the outer mounting tab hole. Attach the outer mounting tab using the

supplied 3/8" x 1" fine thread bolt, washers, & nut. Attach the new Skyjacker tie rod bracket to the

tie rod using the supplied 5/16" u-bolts, washers, & nuts. Do not tighten at this time. Assemble the

steering stabilizer. Install the boot first, then install the bushing & steel sleeve in the body end of

the stabilizer. Install the bushing & stud on the shaft end of the stabilizer.

3. Pull the shaft out of the stabilizer half way & attach the stabilizer to both brackets. Attach the

stabilizer to the axle bracket using the supplied 10mm bolt & nut. Attach to the tie rod bracket

using the supplied stud. It will be necessary to adjust the tie rod bracket so the stabilizer can be

installed with shaft pulled out half way. (See Photo # 2)

4. Cycle the tires / wheels left to right & check all hardware for adequate clearance. Re-tighten all

hardware after the first 100 miles & periodically there after.
