(Park the vehicle on level ground with the tires pointing straight forward).
1. While supporting the front cross member with floor jack, remove the
(Passenger Side) front lower A-Arm bolt at the frame. (If installing
on a vehicle with 4” of more lift, it will be the upper front bolt on the
after market cross member. Remove this bolt.
2. Attach the main bracket at this location using the 5/8 x 6 1/2” fine
thread bolts, washers, and nut.
3. While holding the bracket level, drill through the inside hole on the
bracket using a 13/32” drill bit and install the 3/8 x 1 fine thread bolt,
washers, and nut. (See Photo #1).
4. Mount the center link bracket approximately 10” from the center of
the idler arm retaining nut. Attach using 5/16 x 1 1/4 x 1 3/4” U-
Bolts, with 5/16 washers and nuts. (See Photo #2).
5. Attach both cylinders to the main bracket using the 1/2 x 5 fine
thread bolt, washers, and nut. Be sure to install the 5/8” aluminum
spacer between the cylinder eyes. (See Photo #3).
6. Attach both cylinders to center link bracket as shown in (Photo #4).
Then adjust the center link bracket so that stabilizers are at center
of travel with the tires pointed straight forward.
7. Once steering stabilizer is installed, check all brackets and bolts for
proper installation. Cycle steering left to right and check all parts for
adequate clearance. Retighten all hardware after the first 100 miles.
