Before beginning the installation, thoroughly & completely read these instructions & the enclosed

driver’s WARNING NOTICE. Affix the WARNING decal in the passenger compartment in clear view

of all occupants. Please refer to the Parts List to insure that all parts & hardware are received prior

to the disassembly of the vehicle. If any parts or hardware are found to be missing, contact

With the vehicle on flat level ground, set the emergency brake, & block the rear tires / wheels. 2.

11. Remove the OEM upper A-arms using a 15mm socket. 12. Disconnect the OEM tie rods from the OEM rack & pinion steering unit. (See Photo # 6) 13. Install & jam the supplied 12mm nuts against the OEM nuts of the OEM rack & pinion steering unit using two 18mm wrenches. (See Photo # 7) 14. Connect the OEM tie rods back to the OEM rack & pinion steering unit. Photo # 6 15. Remove the OEM bushings & sleeves from the OEM upper & lower A-arms. (See Photo # 8) 16.

21. Remove the OEM brake line retaining brackets from each OEM upper A-arm using a 5/32” drill bit to remove the rivet head. (See Photo # 12) 22. Measure from the rearward eyelet of each new Skyjacker upper A-arm 2 3/8” & 10 5/8". Mark, center punch, & drill each new brake line retaining bracket mounting location using a 5/32” drill bit. (See Photo # 13) Note: The OEM brake line retaining brackets are not in line with one another.

26. Attach the new Skyjacker upper A-arms to the OEM steering knuckles using the OEM hardware & a 13mm socket. (See Photo # 16) 27. Install the new Skyjacker lower A-arms using the OEM hardware & a 15mm socket. (See Photo # 17) 28. Attach the new Skyjacker lower A-arms to the OEM steering knuckles using the OEM hardware & a 13mm socket. (See Photo # 18) 29. Attach the OEM brake caliper assemblies to the OEM steering knuckles using the OEM hardware & a 15mm socket. (See Photo # 19) Photo # 16 30.

33. Install the new Skyjacker lower bumper bracket using the supplied 7/16” x 1 1/4” bolts, washers, nuts, OEM hardware, 15mm socket, & a 5/8” socket. (See Photo # 23) Note: Tighten all front bumper assembly hardware at this time. 34. Install the front tires / wheels using a 19mm socket & lower the front of the vehicle to the ground. Final Notes: Photo # 23 • After the installation is complete, double check that all nuts & bolts are tight. Refer to the following chart for the proper torque specifications.
