Engine Function Indicators

The engine function indicators (1) illuminate when an engine fault occurs during

operation.

• If red indicator (2) illuminates during operation, stop the engine immediately and

diagnose the fault using the ECM diagnostic system. See Service Manual for

details.

• If amber indicator (3) illuminates during operation, the diagnostic system has

detected a fault within the engine. Stop the engine and diagnose the fault using

the ECM diagnostic system. See Service Manual for details.

• The indicators also flash engine fault codes. See Service Manual for details.
