9.8.7 Attachment Tilt and Slave Cylinder
Circuit
The attachment tilt functions are dependent on the posi-
tion of the attachment tilt mode switch (Fig. 936 and Fig.
9– 37) and can be achieved by pressing and holding the
button on the top right of the joystick. Moving the joystick
backward controls attachment tilt UP. Moving the joystick
forward controls attachment tilt DOWN.
Flow is directed to either side of the attachment tilt and
slave cylinder pistons by shifting of the spool valve (Fig.
9– 39) in the attachment tilt section of the main control
valve assembly. The spool valve is shifted by pilot pres-
sure, actuated by joystick control and electrical solenoids.
System pressure is applied in the attachment tilt and
slave cylinder circuit (Fig. 938 and Fig. 940) from the
attachment tilt section of the main control valve.
