6. Label and disconnect the alternator wires:

• AG1 and AG2 from G terminal (1)

• AB1 and AB2 from B+ terminal (2)

• 38 and 6 from D+ terminal (3)

Applies To All Vehicles

7. Remove the lower mounting capscrew (4) securing

the alternator to the lower mounting hole (5) on the

engine.

8. While supporting the alternator with one hand,

remove the upper (longer) mounting hardware (6)

from the upper alternator mount (7). Remove the

alternator from the vehicle.
