OPERATION:
1. Turn satellite receiver on, and use installation menu to determine the azimuth and elevation
for your location.
2. Remove the compass from the mount. The metal pipe and antenna will effect compass
operation. Using the compass, determine the best location for the mount.
NOTE: Satellite signals will not go through trees, buildings, etc.
3. Screw anchor into the ground.
TIP: Use a large screwdriver or piece of pipe inserted into the top loop to help screw
anchor into ground.
4. Attach the elastic cord to the bottom of the mount base.
5. Set the mount over the anchor screw and attach elastic cord to the anchor.
6. Reattach the compass to the mount base. Rotate the mount so that the arrow on the
mount points North.
7. Adjust mount legs until bubble level indicates that the mount is level.
8. Attach pipe mast to the antenna and tighten. Adjust antenna elevation to correct setting for
your location.
9. Set antenna and pipe mast onto the mount.
10. Connect antenna to receiver.
11. Using the azimuth markings on the mount base, SLOWLY rotate antenna to the correct
heading.
TIP: If you do not find the satellite, be sure you have entered the correct zip code, and be
sure that there are no obstructions (trees, buildings, etc.) in the line-of -sight.
12. Secure the pipe by tightening the adjustment knob.
