Warranty

All Slant/Fin residential and commercial Baseboard products as listed in price books R-01 and R-01C respectively,

carry Slant/Fin’s standard warranty for repair or replacement for a period of one year after original installation of all

parts found to be defectively manufactured. This warranty expressly excludes labor. Claims under this warranty are,

at Slant/Fin’s discretion, subject to Slant / Fin’s inspection of the product alleged defective.

EXCLUSIONS:

This warranty excludes products that have been installed or subjected to unusual conditions such as swimming pool

areas, sea-shore applications, corrosive or chemical atmospheres, bathrooms, laundry rooms etc. Precautions

should be taken to protect the product from these corrosive elements. Protection is the responsibility of the installing

contractor or homeowner.

This warranty also excludes physical damage during or after installation, leaks due to such physical damage,

improper solder joints, or corrosion from excess soldering flux. Flux should conform to the requirements of ASTM

B213, Standard Specification for Liquid and Paste Fluxes for Soldering Applications of Copper and Copper Alloy

Tube. The fin tube must be throughly flushed with water immediately after installation to remove any residual or trace

amounts of flux as per industry standards.

LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND DAMAGES:

Slant/Fin’s sole obligation in the event of a breach of any implied warranty, including, but not limited to, implied

warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, is limited to repair or replacement, and all such

warranties are limited in duration to the period of one year after the date of original installation. This warranty does

not cover claims for incidental or consequential damages resulting from a breach of any express or implied warranty

or any other reason.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental

or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific

legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
