Sunny Beam Antenna Orientation
Better performance can sometimes be achieved by reorienting the antenna on the Sunny Beam.
Because the antenna is strongest to the sides as opposed to the ends, it can improve
performance to have the side of the antenna facing the direction of the Sunny Boy. For
example, if the Sunny Boy was located directly above the Sunny Beam, (e.g. on the roof), or
directly below the Sunny Beam, (e.g. in a garage or basement), it might improve performance
to orient the antenna horizontally as shown in the figure below.

Sunny Boy Antenna Orientation
The same holds true for the Sunny Boy antenna. The antenna on the Sunny Boy can be
reoriented through the use of an optional antenna bracket that can be wall mounted in any
position. This bracket is available through your SMA supplier.
