To send an SMS message:
1 In the Phonebook Contacts list, highlight the Phonebook Contact to
whom you want to send an SMS, and press Enter. A New SMS screen
appears. The name of the person to whom you are sending the SMS
appears in the To field.
2 Type your message.
3 To add more recipients:
• Press , choose 2. Add Recipients, scroll to select a Contact from
your list and press Enter.
• Alternatively, you may manually add another SMS number in the To
field. Make sure multiple addresses are comma-separated.
4 Press Type & Send. If the contact to whom you are sending the SMS
has more than one mobile phone number, then the Select Address list
appears.

If an IM message was successfully sent, the Ongoing Chat icon is displayed
in that Contact’s status line. If the message could not be delivered, an error mes-
sage appears. The Chat Session Closed icon appears in the status line if the
Contact is offline or blocked, if your neoChat is disconnected from the IM Server,
or if the chat is with a non-Contact.
1 With the Messages screen displayed, press . A menu appears.
2 Type 1 or scroll to highlight 1. New SMS and press Enter. A New SMS
screen appears.
3 To add recipients:
• Press , choose 2. Add Recipients, scroll to select a Contact
from your list and press Enter.
• Alternatively, you may manually type in an SMS number in the To
field. Make sure multiple addresses are comma-separated.
4 Type your message.
5 To send the SMS, press Type & Send.
