Hearing Aids
Certain digital wireless products, such as your neoChat, may interfere
with some hearing aids. Consult your Service Provider in the event of
interference.
Other Medical Devices
The operation of any radio-transmitting equipment, including your
neoChat, may interfere with the functioning of inadequately protected
medical devices. Consult a physician or the manufacturer of the medi-
cal device if you have any questions or to determine if the devices are
adequately shielded from external RF energy.
Power off your neoChat in health care facilities when instructed to do
so. Hospitals or health care facilities may be using equipment sensitive
to external RF energy.
Transport
RF signals may affect improperly installed or inadequately shielded
electronic systems in motor vehicles, for example electronic fuel injec-
tion systems, electronic anti-skid (anti-lock) braking systems, elec-
tronic speed control systems, and air bag systems.
Check these issues with your vehicle manufacturer or representative.
You should also consult the manufacturer of any equipment that has
been added to your vehicle.
Power off your neoChat before boarding an aircraft. The use of wire-
less products such as your neoChat in an aircraft may be dangerous
to the operation of the aircraft, disrupt the wireless telephone network,
and may be illegal.
Posted Facilities
Power off your neoChat in any facility where posted notices require
you to do so.
Potential Explosive Atmospheres
Power off your neoChat in areas with a potentially explosive atmo-
sphere, and obey all signs and instructions. Sparks in such areas
could cause an explosion or fire resulting in bodily injury or even
death.
You should power off your neoChat at a refueling point (service station)
and observe restrictions on the use of radio equipment in fuel depots
(fuel storage and distribution areas), chemical plants or areas where
blasting operations are in progress.
