Meramec polyurethane foam is a fully cross-linked reaction product of polyols, isocyanate,

catalysts, surfactants, pigments and blowing agents. Polyurethane is a polymeric material

consisting of repeating units of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and nitrogen.

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW

• Abrasive blasting, sanding or grinding of this product could generate nuisance dust.

• Decomposition gases will be generated at temperatures greater than 450ºF, which would

be harmful to health if inhaled.

EFFECTS OF OVEREXPOSURE

• INHALATION: Grinding dust may cause mechanical irritation to the respiratory tract.

• SKIN: Essentially non-irritating to skin.

• EYES: Grinding dust may cause mechanical irritation.

• INGESTION: Not expected as a route of exposure.
