Soft top system faults
Soft top system faults
The rear soft top is engaged at one side
only
When docking to the Bpost, it is possi
ble that the rear soft top could engage on
one side only. This may occur if the pre
detent engaging catch has closed prema
turely. If this occurs, proceed as follows:
Open the predetent engaging catch
쮿 Release the predetent engaging catch
(A) with the emergency operation key
from the pin (B) of the Bpost lock on
the side that is engaged.
> On the predetent engaging catch,
there is a triangle indicating the
direction of opening.
쮿 Engage the rear soft top again in the
lower storage position.
> The predetent engaging catches are
now moved automatically back into
the home position.
쮿 Now dock the rear soft top as described
in "Closing the rear soft top" (see page
117).
