The halogen lamp gets so hot that serious burns could be
caused if you touch it.
• Loosen the screw of the front glass cover and open it.
• Slide the halogen lamp towards the right and pull the left side of
the halogen lamp from its lamp holder.
• Wipe off possibly existing fat (e.g., finger prints) from the new
halogen lamp with a soft, dry cloth.
• Hold the halogen lamp with a cloth and place one side of the
halogen lamp into the spring-suspended lamp holder. Press the
halogen lamp against the lamp holder and guide the other side of
the halogen lamp into the opposite side of the lamp holder. Make
sure that the contacts of the halogen lamp securely touch the
contacts of the lamp holder.

This product is not a toy and should thus be kept out of reach of
children.
If there is reason to believe that safe operation has become impos-
sible, put the product out of operation and secure it against any
unintended operation.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
• the product or the connecting cables exhibit visible damage
• the product does not operate any longer
• the product was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long
period of time
• the product was exposed to extraordinary stress caused by
transport
Before cleaning the product or performing maintenance, the follow-
ing safety notes must be observed:
When opening covers or removing parts you may expose live parts.
Therefore, disconnect the device from all voltage sources and con-
nections before performing maintenance work or repairs. Capaci-
tors inside the device may still carry voltage even though they have
been disconnected from all voltage sources. Repairs may only be
carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the hazards
involved and the relevant regulations.
In commercial and industrial facilities the regulations for the preven-
tion of accidents as laid down by the professional trade association
for electrical equipment and devices need to be observed.
