1 | Safety Smartwares 1 Safety 1. Please read these instructions carefully before installing and using the product. 2. Do not cut the power supply cable to extend it; the device (convertor) will not work with a longer cable. Do not plug in the device before all the wiring has been finished. 1.1 Installation Safety 1. Keep children and bystanders away while installing the products. Distractions can cause you to lose control. 2. Do not overreach when installing this product.
Smartwares Introduction | 2 2 Introduction The Wall switch convertor is a solution for your Smartwares smart lighting. Together with the Smartwares Link, the built-in unit makes your traditional wall switch smart with an easy and quick installation. When installed, you can control your smart bulbs with your smartphone, even when the traditional wall switch is turned off.
3 | Installation Smartwares 3 Installation 3.1 Insert the switch battery As the wall switch converter will convert your standard light switch into a wireless switch, a battery is required. Follow the procedure below to insert the battery (see illustration 1): a) Rotate the lid of the switch counter clockwise (see markings on the lid). b) Remove the lid. c) Insert the battery (text on battery facing up). d) Place the lid and rotate clockwise to fasten. Smartwares Installation | 3 a) Make sure the light bulb you wish to pair is unscrewed. b) Press and hold the button on the wall switch convertor for a short period (<1 second), the LED will start flashing. c) Screw the light bulb in the socket. d) The light will flash orange and blue to indicate that it is paired to the wall switch convertor. 3.3 Single switch installation Follow the procedure below to install the wall switch converter on a single button light switch.
3 | Installation Smartwares 3.4 Double switch installation Follow the procedure below to install the wall switch converter on a double button light switch. Before you start, make sure that you have: ü Switched off the mains supply breaker. ü Measured that there is no power present, using a voltage meter. ü Installed the battery in the wall switch converters. (See section “Install the switch converter battery”.
Smartwares Installation | 3 d) Remove the cables from the light switch. e) Insert the cables into the connection terminal. (see illustration 9 and 10) f) On the light switch: Connect the cables of the wall switch converter to the terminals that you marked on the light switch (any order, see illustration 11 and 12). g) Put the light switch in place and fasten the screws. h) Put the face plate in place and press to fasten. i) Repeat steps a-h to install the second switch.

Smartwares Veiligheid | 1 1 Veiligheid 1. Lees deze instructies zorgvuldig door voordat u het product installeert en gebruikt. 2. Knip de voedingskabel niet door om deze te verlengen. 1 | Veiligheid Smartwares 1.3 Veilige vervanging van de armaturen Als u de stroom niet uitschakelt, bestaat er een risico op elektrische schokken. Het elektrische circuit is altijd ingeschakeld wanneer de wandschakelaarconverter wordt gebruikt. Volg de procedure hieronder als u een lichtarmatuur wilt vervangen: a) Schakel de stroom uit. b) Zoek in uw stoppenkast de stroomonderbreker voor de lichtarmatuur waaraan u gaat werken. c) Schakel de stroom uit. ð U kunt de lichtarmatuur nu veilig vervangen.
Smartwares Inleiding | 2 2 Inleiding De wandschakelaarconverter is de ideale oplossing voor uw slimme verlichting van Smartwares. In combinatie met de Smartwares Link verandert de ingebouwde unit uw traditionele wandschakelaar na een eenvoudige en snelle installatie in een slimme schakelaar. Na de installatie kunt u uw slimme lampen bedienen met uw smartphone, zelfs wanneer de traditionele wandschakelaar is uitgeschakeld.
3 | Installatie Smartwares 3 Installatie 3.1 De batterij van de schakelaarconverter plaatsen Een batterij is vereist omdat de wandschakelaarconverter uw standaardlichtschakelaar verandert in een draadloze schakelaar. Volg de procedure hieronder om de batterij te plaatsen (raadpleeg illustratie 1): a) Draai het deksel van de schakelaar tegen de klok in (raadpleeg de markeringen op het deksel). b) Verwijder het deksel. c) Plaats de batterij (tekst op batterij omhoog).
Smartwares Installatie | 3 3.2.1 Extra lampen koppelen U kunt met één wandschakelaarconverter meerdere lampen bedienen. Als u meer lampen wilt toevoegen aan de eerste gekoppelde lamp, volgt u de onderstaande procedure: a) Zorg dat de lamp die u wilt koppelen, is losgeschroefd. b) Houd de knop op de wandschakelaarconverter kort ingedrukt (<1 seconde). Het ledlampje begint te knipperen. c) Schroef de lamp in de fitting.
3 | Installatie Smartwares 3.4 Installatie van dubbele schakelaar Volg de procedure hieronder om de wandschakelaarconverter te installeren voor een dubbele lichtschakelaar. Voordat u begint, moet u ervoor zorgen dat u het volgende hebt gedaan: ü De hoofdschakelaar is uitgeschakeld. ü U hebt met een spanningsmeter gecontroleerd of er geen restspanning is. ü De batterij is in de wandschakelaarconverters geplaatst. (Raadpleeg de sectie 'De batterij van de wandschakelaarconverter plaatsen'.
Smartwares Installatie | 3 c) Markeer de terminals waarop de kabels zijn aangesloten. d) Verwijder de kabels uit de lichtschakelaar. e) Plaats de kabels in de verbindingsterminal. (Raadpleeg illustraties 9 en 10.) f) Op de lichtschakelaar: Verbind de kabels van de wandschakelaarconverter met de terminals die u op de lichtschakelaar hebt gemarkeerd (willekeurige volgorde, raadpleeg illustraties 11 en 12). g) Plaats de lichtschakelaar terug en draai de schroeven vast.

Smartwares Sicherheit | 1 1 Sicherheit 1. Lesen Sie vor der Benutzung des Produkts bitte aufmerksam diese Betriebsanleitung. 2. Schneiden Sie das Netzkabel nicht durch, um es zu verlängern. Das Gerät (Konverter) funktioniert mit einem längeren Kabel nicht. Schließen Sie das Gerät erst an, wenn die gesamte Verdrahtung fertiggestellt ist. 1.1 Sicherheit bei der Montage 1. Halten Sie Kinder und Zuschauer fern, während Sie die Produkte montieren. Ablenkung kann dazu führen, dass Sie die Kontrolle verlieren.
1 | Sicherheit Smartwares 1.3 Sicheres Auswechseln des Leuchtmittels GEFAHR Wenn der Strom nicht abgeschaltet wird, besteht Stromschlaggefahr. Aufgrund des Wandschalter-Konverters ist der elektrische Stromkreis immer eingeschaltet. Um das Leuchtmittel auszuwechseln, gehen Sie bitte wie folgt vor: a) Schalten Sie den Strom aus. b) Suchen Sie in Ihrem Schaltkasten den Trennschalter für das Leuchtmittel, das Sie auswechseln wollen. c) Schalten Sie den Stromkreis ab.
Smartwares Einführung | 2 2 Einführung Der Wandschalter-Konverter ist eine Lösung für Ihre intelligente Smartwares-Beleuchtung. Zusammen mit dem Smartwares Link macht die integrierte Einheit Ihren herkömmlichen Wandschalter durch eine einfache und schnelle Montage zu einem intelligenten Schalter. Nach der Montage können Sie Ihre Smart-Leuchten auch bei ausgeschaltetem Wandschalter mit dem Smartphone steuern.
3 | Montage Smartwares 3 Montage 3.1 Setzen Sie die Batterie für den Wandschalter-Konverter ein. Da der Wandschalter-Konverter Ihren normalen Lichtschalter zu einem Funkschalter macht, wird eine Batterie benötigt. Verfahren Sie wie folgt, um die Batterie einzusetzen (siehe Abbildung 1): a) Drehen Sie den Deckel des Schalters gegen den Uhrzeigersinn (siehe Markierungen am Deckel). b) Entfernen Sie den Deckel. c) Setzen Sie die Batterie ein (Beschriftung nach oben).
Smartwares Montage | 3 e) Um den Wandschalter-Konverter bei Bedarf wieder zurückzusetzen, drücken und halten Sie die Taste 10-15 Sekunden lang. ð Sie können nun mit der Installation des Wandschalter-Konverters anfangen. Hinweis: Für den Anschluss weiterer Leuchten siehe Kapitel 3.2.1. 3.2.1 Zusätzliche Leuchten synchronisieren Mit einem einzelnen Wandschalter-Konverter können Sie mehrere Leuchten steuern.

Stellen Sie vor Beginn sicher, dass Sie ü die Hauptsicherung ausgeschaltet haben. ü mit einem Spannungsmesser geprüft haben, dass keine Spannung mehr vorhanden ist. ü die Batterie in die Wandschalter-Konverter eingesetzt haben.

Stellen Sie vor Beginn sicher, dass Sie ü die Hauptsicherung ausgeschaltet haben. ü mit einem Spannungsmesser geprüft haben, dass keine Spannung mehr vorhanden ist. ü die Batterie in den Wandschalter-Konverter eingesetzt haben. Si vous voulez remplacer le dispositif d'éclairage, suivez la procédure ci-dessous : a) Coupez l'alimentation. b) Dans votre panneau de circuit électrique, localisez la commande du disjoncteur pour le dispositif d'éclairage sur lequel vous allez travailler.
2 | Introduction Smartwares 2 Introduction Le convertisseur d'interrupteur mural est une solution pour votre éclairage intelligent Smartwares. Avec le Smartwares Link, l'unité intégrée rend votre interrupteur mural traditionnel intelligent avec une installation facile et rapide. Une fois installé, vous pouvez contrôler vos ampoules intelligentes avec votre smartphone, même lorsque l'interrupteur mural traditionnel est éteint.
Smartwares Installation | 3 3 Installation 3.1 Insérez la batterie de l'interrupteur Comme le convertisseur d'interrupteur mural convertira votre interrupteur d'éclairage standard en interrupteur sans fil, il faut une batterie. Suivez la procédure ci-après pour insérer la batterie (voir illustration 1) : a) Tournez le cache de l'interrupteur dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre (voir les repères sur le cache). b) Retirez le cache. c) Insérez la batterie (le texte sur la batterie vers le haut).
3 | Installation Smartwares e) Si vous devez réinitialiser le convertisseur de l'interrupteur mural pour une raison quelconque, appuyez sur le bouton et maintenez-le enfoncé pendant 10 à 15 secondes. ð Vous pouvez maintenant commencer l'installation du convertisseur d'interrupteur mural. Remarque : Si vous voulez connecter des éclairages supplémentaires, voir le chapitre 3.2.1. 3.2.

Avant de commencer, assurez-vous d'avoir : ü Coupé le disjoncteur d'alimentation secteur. ü Vérifié à l'aide d'un voltmètre qu'il n'y a pas d'alimentation électrique. ü Installé la batterie dans le convertisseur d'interrupteur mural.
