2.2 Using the accessories
Barbecue griddle
Useful for grilling, gratinating or barbecue
cooking.
1. Before cooking, remove the barbecue
griddle.
2. Lift the heater element A and lock it with
the suitable catch B.
3. In the tray under the heater element you
can place:
• Water to gather fat and oil coming from
cooking.
• Molten rock to keep heat longer and
improving cooking times and quality.
4. Remove the catch of the heater element
B and lower it so that the four references
lie on the bottom of the tray.
5. Reposition the griddle on the hob.
6. Rotate the barbecue heater element
knob to a position ranging between 1
and 9. The indicator light comes on to
indicate that the heater element is in use.

Burn hazard
• After extended use the cooking plate
will stay hot even after the heater
element has switched off. Keep children
at a distance.
• Remove the griddle only when it is cold.
Pay attention not to go beyond the
edge of the tray.
It is advisable to preheat the
barbecue heater element for
5-6 minutes before positioning the
food.
