WARRANTY CONDITIONS ONLY VALID FOR APPLIANCES INSTALLED
WITHIN THE REPUBLIC OF SOUTH AFRICA.
Your 36 Month (Three Year) Guarantee
Your new appliance comes with our three year guarantee protecting you against electrical
and mechanical breakdown. Please read over terms and conditions.
It is important that you retain the original purchase invoice of your appliance in order
to receive efficient assistance in the event of the appliance requiring attention in the guarantee period.
Smeg Guarantee Conditions
We SBS Household appliances undertake that if within 3 Years of the date of purchase
this Smeg appliance is proved to be defective by reason only of faulty workmanship or materials, we will
at our discretion repair or replace the same FREE OF ANY CHARGE for labour and materials on
condition that:
- The appliance has been correctly installed and used only on the electricity or gas supply on the rating
plate.
- The appliance has been used for normal domestic purposes only, and in accordance with the
manufacturer’s operating and maintenance instructions.
- The appliance has not been serviced, maintained, repaired, taken apart or tampered with by any person
not authorized by SBS Household Appliances.
- All service work under this guarantee must be undertaken by SBS Service:
